2017 Mazda MX-5 Review; Woth to Buy!
The 2017 Mazda MX-5 is a two seater with canvas roof all to drive. The schema is refined suspension Wishbone front and a five-link: at the rear. Thanks to the lightweight flywheel, which opposes little inertia, the four-cylinder “takes” fast lap; the best give it, however, between 5000 and 7500 (and put his hand to his manual transmission is a pleasure). For the first time in an MX-5, then, the engine also has a beautiful voice (even with the discharge standard). Until you drive gently, the limits are high. If, however, you’re more impetuous, tail “runs away” soon and Esp does not intervene immediately: will appeal to help savvy … Despite the price, the Endowment is rich (led headlights and Dab radio serial): to disappoint are sound and lack of depth adjustment of the steering wheel, as well as spacious compartments in the passenger compartment: pure fit for mobile is a problem.

Is the fourth generation of the 2017 Mazda MX-5 with 392 cm by a bumper to another, is even shorter than the first model (of 1989) and has personal and modern lines. Elastic and anything but lazy, 1.5 pushes well even at low engine speeds, but prefers to “shoot up” by requiring the driver to climb often. The six-speed gearbox is one of the best manuals: hard to find equally precise and grafts from the race so short. The pedals are perfectly placed: the “toe-heel” (curb loud while doing the “double”, in order to avoid wheel-locking behind) is a game. Vibrant performance: in our surveys, this 1.5 go as the previous generation 2.0 by 160 HP (the proof is on alVolante 5/2007). And the beautiful voice of the motor adds pleasure. The car can be appreciated between the curves: thanks to the refined suspension and rear-wheel drive. But a roof closed, the soundproofing is poor. The car is light and stopping don’t care: However, there are quiet family cars that stop before … Well, on the other hand, the pedal. Open the hood is quick and easy: by sitting, unlocked a catch you “run” backwards. To close it, it’s easy to grab it and extend it with a single movement of the arm. All versions have bi-led and the Navigator with 7 ‘ screen ‘; also the Evolve, which saves a lot but has only manual “climate” and it has no automatic lights and wipers, remote sensors and involuntary lane departure warning. Alternatively there is also the 2.0 (about 1,000 euros), which has 160 HP and has another “character”: stretches less but pushes better midrange. He also shocks the finest, 17 circles ” and the mechanical limited slip differential.

The steering is light and direct: to curve just touch your steering wheel (which, however, to be that of a sports car, is not very homogeneous in response). Each acceleration is underlined by the “growl” suction, amplified by the ISE system: a cable duct, closed by a diaphragm, connecting the collector that brings air to the inlet with the area under the windshield. The air moving inside the intake plenum transmits its vibrations to the diaphragm, which in turn transforms them into sound; is standard for all MX-5, Evolve not included. The 17.9 km/l collected demonstrate the efficiency of the engine.
On the highway. At 130 km/h, in sixth gear, the 1.5 is about 3400 RPM and the thirst for fuel is not of concern (13.9 km/l). The air on the bodywork and the noise of the tyre is, however, evident even before the speed limit. In the straight, then, just a minimal movement of the steering wheel to change the trajectory: relax suffers.

- EXCHANGE. Top: precise and “responding” just grafts has bending the wrist.
- GUIDE. In curve satisfies those traveling as peaceful as fans of “crush”.
- MOVEMENT OF THE ROOF. It is as simple and quick as not to want an electrical device.

- PRACTICALITY. Few, and small, the compartments in the cabin: lacks even the drawer in front of the passenger.
