2018 Bentley Bentayga Review; Nice BIG SUV
To create the illusion that a luxury SUV also somewhat politically correct can the 4.0 V8 2018 Bentley Bentayga, the Bentley-diesel from the Audi SQ7 about. A first in the history of the brand.
Since the Diesel gate affair in September 2015 in steps, the diesel engine is discredited. Diesel are accused because of their emissions of particulate matter and therefore prohibited from 2025 in the centers of Paris, Mexico City, Madrid, and Athens. The legitimacy of their presence in the global car park seems increasing to be further eroded. Not so the best time to unpack right away with your first diesel ever, after you have left the first 97 years zel font brander. And yet showed off a V8 Diesel badge on the flanks of the 2018 Bentley Bentayga with which we could draw on the path in Marbella – say the Saint-Tropez of Spain. Some people even ask themselves therefore aloud whether Bentley-CEO Wolfgang Dürheimer is not what has blundered in his strategy.
As far as we would not want to go. Because firstly, some or suffer from his look that is reminiscent of a failed plastic surgery, the Bentayga doing it though well in sales. Since the beginning of this year, he was placed on the market, Bentley already knew 5,500 copies of to the man. This makes this big SUV on his own account for nearly half of the total Bentley-sale, which, by the way, in 2016 for the fourth consecutive year has exceeded the threshold of 10,000 pieces.
2018 Bentley Bentayga 6.0 W12 Diesel
Second, there is a real demand for a diesel version in Europe: a part of Bentley’s customer base would love to have a car that is acceptable – some more social and one with which they are not every need to the petrol station. And finally, there is the budgetary aspect: the Diesel costs 37,752 Bentayga euro less than the 6.0 W12, which in addition not only petrol slurps as if it was water but is also firmly running out in tax law. In short, more than enough reason to believe that this diesel version can attract new customers. All the more so because already 50 percent of customers consists of newcomers Bentayga at Bentley.
