2019 Cadillac XT4 Geneva Auto Show
There is a new name in the Cadillac range: 2019 Cadillac XT4. The Americans now show a first teaser. Much is not it, but we see more than before. Cadillacs current SUV portfolio is soon to be extended down. Today we see those hoogpotige better than ever by his Camouflagepak scheme.
Cadillac’s SUV offer is very clear at the moment. The brand has only the XT5, the successor of the SRX, and the immense Escalade in the range. This XT4 is added to the delivery range this year, an SUV that wants to serve Cadillac cars like the Audi Q5, Mercedes-Benz GLC class and the BMW X3 of the reply.
The 2019 Cadillac XT4 is on Cadillac’s modular C1XX base, a platform where the already mentioned XT5 already uses. Where the newcomer previously hung very fanatically in the stickers, is now more of the final design to see. For example, the new, for Cadillac characteristic angle headlight units are somewhat visible and we see a rear with high-end rear light units. The latter we currently see on the Escalade and used to be common on models like the SRX and CTS Wagon.
Earlier Spyshots confirmed the rumours in the corridors already: Cadillac is doing a smaller brother for the XT5. To read off the format of the car on these teasers, cars like the BMW X3 and Audi Q5 can wetting the chest. What is particularly striking in this first teaser are the typical Peugeot 508-like headlights. Earlier we met the special lamp party at the XT5. At the back the XT4 gets high-placed lighting.
This year, Cadillac will add the 2019 Cadillac XT4 to the portfolio. This is on Cadillac’s modular C1XX base, a platform the XT5 is already using. Given the teasers that Cadillac now releases, we don’t have to wait long for the unveiling of the car.
