2020 Ford Focus Active AWD Performance & Fuel EConomy
Ford threw the 2020 Ford Focus Active and the Wagon into the blender and presented the result earlier this week in the shape of the Focus Active Wagon. The Focus Active Wagon sprinkled with an adventurous spice mix also comes to here. AutoWeek entered the price list and can report the amounts Ford wants to receive for the new Focus variant.
Ford presented the hatchback version of the new Focus not only as Trend, Titanium, Vignale or ST-Line but also as Active. The car followed in the footsteps of the new Fiesta, a model for which such a version was already available. The Focus Wagon still had to do without that adventurously dressed variant, but from now on the Wagon buyer can also step into an Active.
2020 Ford Focus Active Specs & Price
Ford delivers the Focus Active Wagon with the 125 hp 1.0 EcoBoost and the 150 hp 1.5 EcoBoost petrol engine. The diesel engines are reserved for the Trend, ST-Line and Titanium versions. The Active Wagon 1.0 Ecoboost with six-speed manual gearbox must add € 28,565. Those who want a vending machine must go for the 150 hp 1.5, even if there is also a manual six-speed gearbox.
The 2020 Ford Focus Active Wagon 1.5 EcoBoost costs € 30,315 with a manual gearbox and € 33,065 with the eight-speed automatic gearbox. This means that the Wagon’s additional price compared to the hatchback versions, as with all other Focus versions, is € 1,000.
The Active recipe also consists of more than black fender edges and special bumpers with silver-colored ‘skidplates’ on the underside. The car has standard independent rear suspension and gets an extra driving mode. In addition to the Normal, Sport and Eco modes, the 3-centimeter higher Active Wagon is also placed in the ‘slippery’ position. In addition, the car has a Trail mode. Ordering is possible immediately.
